LINE 7: SASSI - LAVANDAI

A line that this time starts from the green of Turin, with destination the city of San Mauro, and then ends its run in the Borgata Bertolla, again in Turin, a place known for the characteristic activity of the washermen who, between the end of the nineteenth century and the early twentieth century, took care of washing clothes for all the inhabitants of the big city. It starts from the cemetery of Sassi, and then throws itself into a totally "wild" world, on the right bank of the Po, in the Meisino Nature Reserve; after passing the homonymous real beach (complete with a lifeguard chair!), the path is "tamed" in walks on dirt roads, walkways and bridges, with beautiful views of the river and the hill. You then arrive in the historic center of San Mauro and cross the Po on the XI September Bridge, continuing backwards, but this time on the left bank, until you finish the race at the surprising Ecomuseum of the Washermen of Bertolla.
